FIRST DAY AT A NEW SCHOOL

Tuff and Bee started a new school since we moved. They were not to thrilled on the idea. You can tell by their faces they were not to amused. They are doing well now though. Bee has made a lot of friends. We listened to hours of crying and worrying from her, she doesn't do well with moves. Tuff wasn't near as worried. I'm afraid he's getting used to it. He really likes this school a lot though.

TRICK OR TREATING

We visited Grandma Bonnie on Halloween. She only lives a couple of blocks from us now so we were able to just walk over.Harley and Olive fell asleep in the car on the way to Grandma nettsy and Papa Ike's house.Harley woke up for trick or treating but Olive slept most of the time. We went trunk or treating at the church in Newton.

HALLOWEEN

We had a good Halloween Aunt Tiffany made Tuff and Harley's indian costumes. They turned out so cute. Bee wants to be a doctor when she grows up.

HARLEY A TREE HUGGER

One day we went to Collette's house, she has this really neat orchard in her yard. Harley climbed this tree and she said she loved this tree and she would not come out.

DEER HUNT

Over the deer hunt every year my mom and my sisters and all the girls go shopping. This is about all my shopping consists to these days is riding the elevator and playing in the store. It's kind of hard to see but my girls were playing in the store window. They were having such a good time. After we went shopping we went home and did a my favorite things party. We played a game where we guessed whos favorite it was. We learned a lot of things we didn't know about each other. We each brought a gift for every one that was our "favorite thing". I think this was my favorite deer hunt year.

HAPPY FALL!!!

Before we moved from Idaho Falls the kids got to play in all the leaves in our front yard. We had a lot of big trees so we had a ton of leaves!!!

Harley's nose bead

So I know this happened a long time ago but I just thought this was a funny story and I thought Harley looked so dang adorable!!! So any way Harley is definately our accident prone child. Last October she swallowed a 1 1/4" dry wall screw (they have pointy ends) so she went to the hospital. We had to wait until that passed, luckily no problems. Then this spring she took her seat belt off in the car and to make a long story short ended up losing a tooth (yeah, it was my fault). Then also in the spring she was upstairs supposed to be having quiet time when all the girls ran down stairs screaming "Harley has a bloody nose!" They told me she put a bead up her nose. Well the bead was so far up there I could barely see it. I took her to the doctor and he wasn't able to get it out so we had to go to a specialist and he wasn't able to get it out. They had to take her into surgery to get it out. So these are the pictures of her before going into surgery. It came out just fine.

Harley's First Day Of Preschool

Harley's first day of Preschool was on September second. She was definately ready and had no trouble at all telling me bye as we walked up the side walk. I was going wait a minute, I still wanted to come in with you and take your picture.
She really wanted a Dora back pack with wheels on it. That is not very easy to find but luckily we found one at K-Mart in St. George.
This is Harley's teacher Mrs. Johnson. Poor Olive even she was ready to go to school. I couldn't get only one Dora back pack or I was going to be in big trouble so I had to get her her own. The only bad thing is she really thought that she was going to be able to go to school. Sorry Olive, next year. After we drop Harley off and we drive down the street she points to all of the houses and asks me "thats my class?"

Sunday, August 31, 2008

So I thought this was kind of funny about Bee. The other day when she got home from school I asked her who she played with at recess. She told me she plays with Carlos and she can't remember the other boys names. I asked her if she played with any girls and she told me no she just likes to play with boys because they are hotter than girls.

Something funny about Harley: The other day the kids were playing outside. I went out to check on them to see something wasn't quite right. Harley was running from the neighbors house like she was hiding. There is just a middle aged couple (old to my kids) that lives there. I asked her what she was doing and she told me that she was ringing the old mans door bell and running so that he would open the door and think that it was a ghost. The funny thing is she was hiding behind a willow tree where he could totally see her. He told her she wasn't very sneaky. I don't think he saw the humor in it.

Olive's big mess

So after the party was all over and cleaned up I could hear Olive in the kitchen. For some reason I knew exactly what she was up to. So I went in there and sure enough, a big mess all over my clean kitchen. I thought I would take some pictures of her cute little purple mess before I cleaned it up anyway.

Olive's party.

Today we had Olive's birthday party. Grandma Nettsy and Papa Ike came up and went to church with us and then stayed for the party. Tiffany, Alan, and Tandra came to the party also. Tuff gave a talk in primary so it was really fun for them to be able to come and watch him give his talk. She got some new dolls for her doll house from Grandma and Grandpa and a baby doll from Aunt Tiff and Uncle Alan. She was really excited about blowing the candles out on her cake. She definately loved her birthday!!!

We Love Our Bows!!!!

I thought my girls looked so cute today so I had to take a picture of them with their cute bows!!!

First Day Of School

School started on Monday the 25th, Olive's birthday. Tuff is in second grade! I can't believe how big he is getting. I put him in a special class that has 1st - 3rd grades in it. I think it will be good and hopefully next year Tuff and Bee will be in the same class. Bee is starting kindergarten. I was a little sad to send them off but I was tougher than I thought that I would be. I was so proud of myself. I blinked back my tears when I took Bee to kindergarten and I didn't even cry at all. Oh yeah, and Bee didn't cry either. My kids are independent little things these days. Even Olive went to nursery all by herself on Sunday. Only the last ten minutes but she made it...huge improvement!!
The zipper on Bee's first backpack broke on the first day of school so we took it back and got her a new one. We were very lucky to find another Hannah Montana backpack or Hannah Tanna as Olive calls her.

Olive Is 2!!!!

Olive turned two on Monday the 25th. She was so excited for her birthday. She woke up in the morning and opened all of her birthday presents. She got some new little dolls for her doll house and clothes and a Dora jacket and Dora blankie. I wished that I had gotten a picture of her cute face when she opened her blankie but I missed it. I made her some birthday cupcakes but she fell asleep before she got to eat them, her birthday party isn't until Sunday. So she will have to wait until Sunday to blow out her birthday candles. So lucky Olive she gets 2 birthdays.

Last Days Of Summer Vacation

So we spent our last week of summer vacation in St. George. The last day Tuff got this great idea to put the hose out on the driveway and make a slip n slide. They played just on the sidewalk and had such a fun day. They ended up with concrete burns all over their feet but they had a great time anyway.

Bee kissed a goat...and she liked it!!

My kids are always singing that terrible song I kissed a girl and I liked it. I don't allow them to sing it but it does get stuck in their head and mine so I took this picture and we decided to change the song to "Bee kissed a goat and she liked it."

WASHINGTON TRIP

We got to take a small trip to Washington. We spent only Saturday there. Jason had to work so me and the kids spent the day at this really cool park next to the Columbia River. It was a huge park and there was also a water park. We thought that the Columbia River was so cool. It was huge with great big bridges that cross it. I got lost looking for the park and ended up driving over one of the big bridges. I do not like to drive on bridges for some reason. I was screaming cause I was so scared. It was a huge bridge!!! We spent a long time throwing rocks in the river and looking for craw dads. We never did find any except for the little pinchers that fell off. It was fun just to sit there and watch all the boats go by.

Washington Trip-At The Water Park

The Water Park was so fun. They have a water park kind of like this in St. George too. But I think the kids liked this one a little better. They were cold when they were done though. They definately are not cold when they are done in St. George. Harley and Olive kept trying to drink the water.

Washington Trip- At the playground

We went to this 12,000 square foot play ground. Which was cool but I wasn't sure if I liked it. I was so worried because it was hard to keep an eye on all of my kids at once. But they had a fun time playing in the sand and Olive loved the slide. I was so happy I captured that big smile on her face when she got to the bottom.
